Apigenin is a natural antioxidant that has the effect of lowering blood pressure and diastolic blood vessels, preventing atherosclerosis and inhibiting tumors. Compared with other flavonoids (quercetin, kaempferol), it has the characteristics of low toxicity and non-mutagenicity.
