The compound β-hydroxy-β-methylbutyrate calcium, abbreviated HMB-Ca, is widely found in citrus fruits, certain vegetables such as broccoli, legumes such as alfalfa, and certain fish and seafood products. Due to the active nature of HMB, Calcium salts are widely used, such as food additives, dietary additives and so on.
